Brother Theodore started his message at the 22nd night of the Fasting Praise and Prayer Crusade with the reading of the two revival tracts:
- The Call For Exceedingly Great Deeds
- Churches of Great, Very Great, Very Very Great Numbers A Must In Christian Missionary Fellowship International.
As a prelude to it, brother Theodore made it clear that what God wants is a spiritual nation of one billion disciples with common distinct characteristics. And to accomplish this work, we need to do it well, we need to accompany it with glory. Glory, he said is spiritual beauty, while beauty is physical glory. Accompanying our work with glory implies doing not less than our best, because God cannot accept anything that is less than our best.
After the reading of the tracts, brother Theodore led the crusaders to pray for two things:
- That we should answer God’s prayer to us, because the tracts are indeed a prayer of God to CMFI and its leaders
- That we should stop being religious and give God great things just as we too we like great things
He, then pursued with reviewing other categories of field might that went into the building of the kingdom David built. Brother Theodore first specified that might of heart is loyalty. He illustrated this by quoting ZTF’s The Way of Loving the Lord, where the author says love can take very far more than ambition will ever do. Mary Magdalene, for instance, was first to see the Lord Jesus after resurrection, and first in many other things, and that was the product of love. On the contrary, all those who wanted to be first, were struggling with much efforts to reach the level Mary had effortlessly reached. Service, brother Theodore said will take you far. However, some want to go far but they are not servant, they use service as a means, and they will not get anywhere.
The next sub-domain of filed might brother Theodore reviewed is teams of mighty men as illustrated in 1Chronicles 12v1-22
These teams of mighty men were made up of men who taken individually were mighty, able and capable. However, they forgot individualism, and team up. In those teams, each one took his place in view of what they had to bring to build the kingdom. Besides, these teams of mighty men had received anointing to follow a leader, and seek, not only his success, but also that of all who are with him. Brother Theodore commented here that it takes fullness of the Holy Spirit to manifest such loyalty. Those who catch the vision team up, to bring consequential help. If you don’t learn to work with others because their performance makes you uncomfortable, then you will not go far, brother Theodore underscored.
Brother Theodore therefore led the community to pray that, as we are building our spiritual nation, God will raise teams of mighty men from among us, because when you have teams of mighty men, your army is said to be like the army of God.
