Day 3: 2022 Fasting, Praise & Prayer Crusade – A Recap

How do we become a spiritual nation? That is the theme developed by brother Theodore Andoseh during the 3rd night of the ongoing Fasting Praise and Prayer Crusade.

From the onset, he explained that Abraham was to become many nations and not a nation. And indeed, many nations and great ones for that matter came out of Abraham as shown in Genesis 25:1-4. However, they were not spiritual nations.

From there he disclosed that there are many pathways to success-different ways of becoming a great nation. From Genesis 25:21-27, where the Lord answered Rebeca that she was pregnant with two nations, the leader depicted two pathways of becoming a great nation–the pathway of Esau and the pathway of Jacob (that is, Israel).

The pathway of Esau, he explained, is the easy pathway, the way of compromise, peace talks, living together, negotiations, etc. Indeed, Esau became a nation with kings long before a king could reign over Israel. This pathway in the New Testament, brother Theodore specified, is the way of Babylon the prostitute. A church that wants rapid success with the love of the World.

And there is the pathway of Israel, which is the pathway to become a great spiritual nation. This is the pathway of suffering, brokenness, sacrifice, relationship with God, Covenant with God, obedience, humility, faith in God, humbling. That is the way Israel became a spiritual nation. This, the leader said, is the pathway of the New Jerusalem in the New Testament.

Pastor Theodore further made it clear that we are not comparing with any denomination that seems to have become a great nation be it in numbers or structures.

In the case of Israel, God was not on trial, it was Israel that had to go through the pathway God had ordained. And certainly, so it is for us.

Note that the praise and celebration slot focused further on the man ZTF who like John the Baptist came from God.

He testified to the light and his impact is today felt and seen in many lives as a handful of them actually testified.

Prayer, of course continues to be faithfully raised in the different slots from 2pm right to 10 am.
