Day 38: 2022 Fasting, Praise & Prayer Crusade – A Recap

Brother Theodore on the 38th Night of the Fasting, Praise and Prayer Crusade emphasized further on the need to raise and train leaders for our great spiritual nation. He started by exposing the vicious and wicked nature of religion. He warned the saints against the practice of religion.

Talking further about Samuel, brother Theodore further said the call of God grows a man. It beautifies, fills the heart, and brightens one’s face. He explained that when a man has received the call of God, is mind must get enlarged and extend to other horizons following the example of Samuel, a man of colossal authority who brought back Israel the nation back to God, pastor Theodore called on the saints to emulate that pathway.

He highlighted from the example of Saul in 1 Samuel 9, that certain preparations precede God’s usage of someone. Hence, those on the pathway of their natural assignment, will end up having a clear work from God. Indeed, before Saul became king, he was a servant to his father and as he served his father, he met with Samuel, who had received instructions from God to make him king of Israel.

Brother Theodore added that God prepares certain dispositions before working to produce a person. He however insisted that no matter the disposition, the most important work to produce a leader is prayer. Moses, he said, was the answer of God to 400 years of prayer. In the same way, we cannot produce leaders, if we don’t pray. However, distinguishing between the leadership of David and Saul, brother Theodore said people to whom God gives leadership on a platter of gold easily crumble while those who get leadership through much constraint can easily maintain it for long.
