Paul Bello’s Death – a Word From The Leader

Our Brother Paul Bello has died from a car accident near Abong Mbang as he was driving from Yaoundé to Garoua.

Paul Bello, leader of the spiritual nation of Garoua, is doubtless a very bright luminary and star. A star has exited us. Praise the Lord. Heaven has gained a soul Winner who will shine as a star.

Daniel 12:3 “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever”

The death of a man may be the end of a life or maybe the multiplication of that life, even as our Lord Jesus said: “I tell you the truth unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (John 12:24). Our brother is a seed fallen to the ground that has died. May God be pleased to raise for His Kingdom and our Work a hundred others like Paul Bello.

We must trumpet a note of triumph as Mackay of Uganda, quoted in the book, ‘ The Ministers and Ministry of the new Covenant says, “I want to remind the committee that within six months, they will probably hear that one of us is dead. One of us at least (it maybe I) will surely fall before that. But what I want to say is this: ‘when the news comes, do not be cast down, but send someone else immediately to fill the vacant place.”

And as Allan Gardiner quoted in the same book, “My prayer is that the Lord my God may be glorified in me, whatever it may be, by life or by death, and that He will, should we die, guarantee (vouchsafe) to raise up and send forth other laborers into His harvest, that His Name may be glorified and His Kingdom enlarged in the salvation of multitudes from among the inhabitants of this pagan land.”
