Those Who Will Not go to Heaven (Z.T. Fomum)

If someone deceived you that you would go to heaven, and on that day you realise that you cannot get into heaven, that person will have done you great harm. We want to teach something that we have not taught often because I consider it to be fundamental for a church of 6,000 members that will soon be here.

This message is entitled: “Those who will not go to heaven” so that if it is clear that you are not going to go either now you decide to go or you live knowing that you are not going to go.

NO SINNER WILL ENTER HEAVEN

Ephesians 5:3: Let not fornication, nor any kind of uncleanness, nor covetousness, be named among you, as befits saints. Let there be no coarse speech, nor foolish or equivocal talk, which is contrary to propriety. Rather, let thanksgiving be heard, for know this well, that no profligate or unclean, or covetous, that is, idolatrous, person has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with vain words, for because of this the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion. Therefore have no part with them.

If anyone is immoral, if he is unclean, if he is covetous, let it be settled once and for all that unless there is a radical repentance so that these things are totally removed from his life, he will not be in heaven. He could be an elder, he could be anything, he could go as a missionary, but he is deceived; he will not be in the kingdom of God.

Second passage Galatians 5:19-22: This is an epistle that was written to believers. Unbelievers cannot be wrong about heaven. As soon as one says: Because I have received Christ I am going to heaven, he is saying; if these things that are mentioned are in his life, he will not go to heaven. Listen. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, animosity, contention, division, sectarianism, envy, drunkenness, gluttony, and the like. I tell you beforehand, as I have already said, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, temperance. Look at them one by one. A warning that if any of these things are in the person’s life and they do not get rid of that thing or those things, they will not inherit the kingdom of God.

GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART AND THE MOTIVES OF YOUR HEART

Divisions and factions are mentioned here. The apostle is not saying that if people do not agree that it is a sin; the apostle is saying: if you divide people, if you cause divisions because of selfish motives, you will not go to heaven. If you cause divisions because of selfish motives, you will not go to heaven. If you cause divisions because of selfish motives, you will not go to heaven. If you go away, because your sin has been exposed and you don’t want to repent, and you go away to establish your own thing, that’s factions, you won’t go to heaven. It is not the fruit of a deep spiritual conviction that leads you, but the fruit of a selfish interest that dominates you by pushing you to look for reasons. Such a person will not go to heaven. And God knows the heart, He knows the motive. If jealousy drives you away, you will not go to heaven even if you go and establish something fantastic. But if it is because you stand on the truth and God knows the heart, if the motive is the truth, then such a division might even be commendable. Because if cows are all rushing towards the precipice, it will not be a union for strength, it will be a union to perish. On this occasion, he who separates is only wise. I would like you to point out here the drunkenness and gluttony that has been translated in several Bibles by words that are even devoid of meaning: some say orgies and words that are not understood. I would like to confess that I did not understand this until I read the French version of the expression “excès de table”. Gluttony closes the entrance to heaven to someone. It means that the person worships food instead of God. He says: I tell you beforehand as I have already said: gluttony excludes from heaven. Hatred: there are especially sisters who hate each other. You will go into the lake of fire. Just know that; unless there is radical repentance. At least when you get there, you will know that you were warned. When instead of loving, you say, “I close my heart to such and such a person; at the very least I will endure him, put up with his presence.” That is hatred. You are dead. You will not go to heaven. We didn’t write that. If the apostle didn’t know what he was writing, then the whole Bible must be questioned. But the apostle knew what he was writing. Selfish ambition: Selfish ambitions exclude a person from heaven. Let God be true and every man a liar.

ALL SINNERS WILL GO INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE

Revelation 21:8: But for the cowardly, the unbelieving, the abominable, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Those who are afraid to speak the truth because of the consequences: the cowards, the abominable, the murderers, the sexual immoral, and all liars, all liars, all liars. The thing to grasp here is that all liars will be in the lake of fire. The little liars, the big liars, the liars that are in the church and those that are outside, the singing liars, the preaching liars, all the liars, they will be many, many in the lake of fire. There is very little repentance for lying. And the book “School of Truth” has not been read, reread and reread. But the Lord says: every liar will be in the lake of fire. For nothing that is not true will stand before the Eternal Father. The Bible speaks of those who will sing in the choir of heaven: no deceit was found in their mouth, no guile was found in their mouth. Revelation 22:15: Out with the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lies. Out with the dogs of the heavenly city, that is, out of heaven are the dogs. Who are the dogs? The dogs are those who return to the things from which they were delivered. Out are the dogs, those who practice magic, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and whoever loves and practices falsehood, and whoever loves and practices falsehood. If you practice falsehood in your professional life, you go to the lake of fire. If you practice falsehood in your administrative life, you will go to hell. If you practice falsehood in your political life, you will perish. If you advance falsehood, you will perish. Earlier he said: all liars; here he says anyone who loves and practices falsehood.

GO TO HEAVEN WHATEVER THE COST

Matthew 5:27-30: You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye is a stumbling block to you, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is expedient for you that one of your members should perish, and that your whole body should not be cast into hell. And if your right hand be a stumbling block to you, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is expedient for you that one of your members should perish, and that your whole body should not go into hell.

The Bible is saying: go to heaven whatever the cost. Even if it means cutting off your hand or plucking out your eye; at any cost. Because if you continue with immorality, you will go to hell. 1 John 3:15: Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. If you hate your brother, you are already a murderer. Matthew 7:13-14: Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way to destruction, and many there are who enter by it. But the gate is narrow and the way to life is narrow, and there are few who find it. And there are few who find them. And few find them. And few find them. And there are few who find them. 1 John 2:15-17: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. Boasting about what one is or about one’s possessions does not come from the Father but from the world. And the world passes away, and so does its lust. Luke 13:23-24: Someone said to him, “Lord, are there only a few who will be saved? He said to them, “Strive to enter by the narrow gate. For I tell you, many will seek to enter and will not be able to. I tell you, many will seek to enter and will not be able to. Many will seek to enter, but will not be able to. Because they will not have put in the whole package. The last group of those who will not go to heaven is related to sexual immorality. Practically in all the passages we’ve read, Emmanuel and I have looked at this in the places we’ve preached, in 80% of those passages, sexual immorality is the first thing that excludes people from heaven.
