Everything being equal, for the same person a seven-day fast will produce results that cannot be produced by a three-day fast; a three-week fast will produce results that cannot be produced by a seven-day fast. The Enemy asks, “Who is fasting?” He is demanding to know the quality of the fast. The Enemy also asks, “For how long is he fasting?” He is demanding to know the quantity of the fast. By these two factors, the Enemy will access what harm the fast will do on his kingdom.
